We have an active Bowls Section in the Club and we play all year round. In the summer we play on the Marriott House Crown Green adjacent to the Sandbach Library on a Tuesday & Friday morning from 10am to noon. In the winter we play short mat bowls at the Yoxall Village Hall in Haslington on a Wednesday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm.
Current situation due to Covid-19
Our outdoor bowling sessions have recommenced with observation of Covid-19 restrictions. If you would care to join in please come along to one of the sessions detailed above.
Thanks to the generosity of one of our members we are now able to offer some ‘Club bowls’ for use by new players to get them started at bowling. If you’d like to have a go, but have held back due to lack of woods, then please come along and try.
At the present time (mid-August) we are unable to say whether indoor bowls will be able to resume this winter. We will update this information as and when it changes.
