Recent Visits
On September 24th 2025, a group of 15 members and friends visited Biddulph Old Hall and were given a fascinating tour of the gardens and house by the owner, Brian Vowles. Formerly an Elizabethan manor, then beseiged and damaged in the Civil War, the Hall has a remarkable history. The pre-Raphaelite painter, Robert Bateman lived there in the middle of the 19th Century and then recently the Hall has been extensively restored by Brian and his late partner, Nigel Daly. All agreed it was a marvellous day out finished off by tea and delicious cakes. The tour was organised by Vice-President, Ken Jones.

Programme of Future Events
The next visit of the Club is to Little Moreton Hall on Wednesday May 27th, It has been organised by the President, Ken Jones, who is a long-time volunteer at the Hall. A report will follow.
