About Us

We have now recommenced physical meetings which take place at our new venue of the Masonic Hall in Sandbach. See our Activities page for future meeting schedule and talk topics.

For our most recent news please see our News page

We are situated in the attractive and vibrant market town of Sandbach in the heart of South Cheshire with its Saxon Crosses and cobbled market square.

Our Club was formed in 1980 with the support of The Rotary Club of Sandbach and today enjoys a membership of over 55 members. Membership is open to retired professional and business people, or those who have contributed to the success of an organisation in the community.

When We Meet

We hold a Members-Only Meeting every 2nd Tuesday in the month at 10.00 am to which guests may attend, by invitation. At each Meeting we enjoy a selection of very fine guest speakers. Meetings usually finish at noon.

Unless invited by an existing Club Member, members of other Probus Clubs wishing to visit or transfer should contact the Secretary via the e-mail link on our contact page.

Similarly, anyone not invited by an existing Member and wishing to visit or be considered for Membership should also follow the link and provide their full name and contact details 10 days prior to the date of the Meeting.
